Mid December through March is typically the snowiest season, with the best snow in late December, January and February. Niseko receives an average of 14 meters of snow per season with most of it coming during this time. There is excellent powder skiing during this time.

Winter Activity
Beyond skiing and snowboarding, visitors of all ages can experience a host of other exhilarating activities in Niseko such as snowmobile adventures, snowshoeing, snow rafting or reindeer sledding just to name a few. Reservations or enquiries can be made at the Niseko Gondola Base activity counter or at Basecamp in The Green Leaf Niseko Village.

Mountain Center Annex
The first-floor public space will feature changing rooms, coin-operated lockers, and a GOSNOW counter, with a rental corner on the second floor. With direct access to the slopes, the HIRAFU Gondola and Holiday #1 Lift can be boarded from nearby, making the ski resort even more convenient and comfortable to use.
The Mountain Center Annex comes complete with the largest-scale rental corner in this region.
Our newly-installed “Japan Brand” corner offers Ogasaka Ski and BLASTRACK products, as well as local Niseko brands ROKO SKI and Gentemstick. We also provide a rental gear holding service, so that you can enter and leave with your hands free. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy relaxing at our cafe stand before or after hitting the slopes.
